About Marissa

Life can often be difficult and hard to navigate, but I believe that we all have the strength and resilience to grow and change and live a more fulfilling life. Therapy is a challenging, yet warm process that entails self-reflection and honest conversation. It is important for me to create a space for you to feel comfortable and open.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and those in need of crisis management. I have specialized training and experience working with clients experiencing suicidal and homicidal ideation, grief and loss, and relationship problems. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which emphasizes Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Distress Tolerance to help you reach your therapy goals. My desire is to help you reach your goals in a supportive, empathetic, and compassionate space where you feel safe. I meet people where they are and walk alongside them to where they want to be. I look forward to meeting you!
